Out of the traditionally perceived five senses (namely sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing), smell might be the most mysterious one. Its influence on our sex life is still discussed, and the existence of human sex pheromone disputed.
What is certain, is that while humans are highly dependent upon visual cues, when in close proximity smells also play a role in sociosexual behaviors.
Movie Inspiration
Scent of a Woman is a 1992 movie that follows Charlie Simms (adorable Chris O’Donnell) and Frank Slade’s (portrayed by the great Al Pacino) friendship and bond. Charlie, a preparatory school student, takes on the job of taking care of Frank Slade, a retired Lieutenant Colonel with visual impairment. Because of his suffering, Frank Slade contemplates ending his own life. But he admits there is one dream that keeps him alive…
Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade: “You know what’s kept me goin’ all these years? The thought that one day—never mind.”
Charlie Simms: “The what?”
Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade: “Silly. Just the thought that maybe one day, I’d—I could have a woman’s arms wrapped around me—and her legs wrapped around me.”
Charlie Simms: “And what?”
Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade: “That I could wake up in the morning and she’d still be there. The smell of her. All funky and warm. I finally gave up on it.”
Another movie concentrating on female scent is Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, a 2006 period psychological thriller film directed by Tom Tykwer and starring Ben Whishaw, Alan Rickman, Rachel Hurd-Wood, and Dustin Hoffman. The screenplay is based on Patrick Süskind’s 1985 novel Perfume. Set in 18th-century France, the film tells the story of Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, an olfactory genius, and his homicidal quest for the perfect scent.
His fate starts with a redheaded girl selling yellow plums. Jean-Baptiste Grenouille follows her and repeatedly attempts to sniff her, but startles her with his behavior. To prevent the redhead from crying out, he covers the girl’s mouth and unintentionally suffocates her. After realizing that she is dead, he strips her body naked and smells her all over, becoming distraught when her scent fades. Afterwards, Grenouille is haunted by the desire to recreate the girl’s aroma.
There are many men like Frank Slade and Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, adoring the natural scent of a woman. It turns them on more than anything else. Thankfully, they do not have to kill a lady to sniff her. The easiest and least-expensive way is just to go online and buy some used panties.
What Does A Vagina Smell Like?
A healthy vagina produces small amounts of fluid throughout the menstrual cycle. A certain amount of vaginal discharge is normal and a sign that the vagina is cleansing itself of dead cells, bacteria and secretions. Healthy discharge has a protective mechanism, helping to prevent infection and disease.
Every woman is different and produces an individual smell. Normal vaginal discharge has a mild, pleasant, musky scent. This means that a slight smell is totally OK. Any foul, bad or strong smell, or a smell that is unusual, is a sign that things are out of balance.
Some women may have discharge every day, and some will have it only during certain times of the month. Generally speaking, healthy vaginal discharge is clear, cloudy, or milky in color. Around the time of ovulation, this discharge can become thick, clear, and stretchy, somewhat resembling a very thick egg white. Up to one teaspoon per day is a normal amount but it is more if the lady is sexually aroused. That’s when she gets wonderfully wet. This clear fluid, called transudate, lubricates the vaginal wall and provides a path for sperm to travel along into the uterus.
Trend Made In Japan
Selling used underwear is a fetish originating in Japan. So called “Burusera” started with gym shorts and sailor uniforms that Japanese teenage girls wear to school but it has evolved into a more general term for selling used panties for money. Now dirty underwear is sold in vending machines. This industry has a long-established brick-and-mortar presence, known as “Burusera shops”.
While the fetish started there, it is now popular Worldwide. Most underwear sales are done online on either specialized sites and regular marketplaces such as Etsy or Craiglist. Sellers of dirty panties use various methods (such as vacuum sealing, vax paper, ice cubes and zip-bags) to prevent the scent.
What Are The Different Scents Of A Woman?
Everyone who likes used panties has a favorite scent. If you are not familiar with websites such as Sofia Gray, Sexy Delights, Scented Pantsy, Pantydeal, SellPantiesForMoney, Snifffr, Blushpanties, UsedPantyPortal and LaceInYourFace, you might not know the different scent niches in the business. Let’s go over them, shall we?
Everyday wear
This is the most typical, straightforward and kind of default panty scent. To create this smell on her underwear, a woman simply has to wear her panties for a few days. As easy as this. When most people think of sniffing used panties, they imagine exactly this style. However, there are definitely other popular scents that make some men’s hearts beat faster.
Period
Some people are really into periods! Although a woman won’t be able to create this scent all month long, it can still be a valuable offering for her customers. Some men want blood included, others are just looking for the stronger smell a female body produces around this time.
Workout
Working out produces lots of sweat, which creates a stronger scent that panty sniffers can’t get enough of – especially if the seller includes pictures of herself working out or posing in flexible poses.
Masturbation
Many buyers are interested in underwear that the woman has masturbated in. This can create a stronger scent. Squirting isn’t required but it’s a niche that can lead to higher prices.
Obviously there is a market for men’s underwear too. If the seller has a penis, the customer will expect that the underwear has been ejaculated in.
Sex
In order to create this scent, a woman needs to wear her underwear while having sex with a partner. For a client it can be a huge turnon to think that the lady had sex while wearing the underwear he is now smelling. It can help to explain who the sex was with and in which postions to drive up the price of the item.
Stuffed
Panty stuffing is a fetish all its own. It involves stuffing the undies in a woman’s mouth, vagina, or anus. While this may not be for everyone, it can definitely create a strong smell that buyers love. This is a very specific niche, so sellers tend to advertise it proudly if they sell this style. However, some ladies only do this kink upon special requests.
Urine
This one’s obvious: buyers want underwear soaked in a woman’s pee! Watersports is a pretty common kink, so there’s lots of demand for these panties. It is important to make sure a lady pees in them last in order to avoid feeling uncomfortable, and lets the material dry out before sending the panties so the smell doesn’t go bad (unless the buyer specifies otherwise).
Other
This category on some sites summarizes all items that don’t fit with the other categories, like bras, socks, and hosiery but also some freaky stuff.
We don’t want it to seem like these are the only scents out there! There’s a kink for basically everything and every woman has her own amazing chemistry.
Let’s read this wonderful Poem by Dr Tapan Kumar Pradhan, entitled A Woman’s Scent
That night when my mother
took me to her breasts
I knew woman had a scent
quite different from man’s…
Tonight you still remind me of
my mother’s old fragrance
though you too have your different scent –
a scent entirely your own!
In summer an aroma of apple juice
envelopes your breasts. In monsoon
the wet fragrance of wild forest flowers
in your hair. And in the winter
your arms smacking of honeyed milk
and your lovely feet of jasmines. In spring
this strong odour of musk in your loins,
and in your navel that faint lavender!
In different seasons you smell differently
In different places you smell differently.
But when I smell you entirely at once,
my love,
your scent becomes
an undefinable something!
