Pump them up: I remember when I was about twelve or thirteen, girls started shyly talking about their growing breasts. To be honest, I had never thought about mine till I was involved in those girly conversations and then I noticed the way boys would look at some girls with longing, but never look at others. It took me time to realize – the appreciated ones were the ones with big boobies.
Years later, I was constantly annoyed and would snap at men, who would talk to my tits, not to my face. Nowadays? NOTHING has changed. Boys and men in general love their beer cold and the boobs they sleep next to enormous. Not all of them, but the majority look at the tits and the ass before they actually notice the face of woman. Looks matter. Breasts matter – they open doors. Legs wide open bring gates down. Am I too straightforward? Probably, but why lie? Ninety-two percent of breast augmentations are the result of low self-esteem and mockery, a trauma caused by silly, wanking, puberty-stricken boys who drop not one, but a series of remarks about a girl’s breasts. The figures in the statistics are monstrous and saddening. Very few women take that decision because of an entirely personal and, most importantly, sound reason.
In 1895, the surgeon Vincenz Czerny performed the first ever corrective implantations after removing part of the breasts during a breast cancer operation. Intended as a noble thing, as a means of support for women who had gone through the horror of cancer, breast augmentation slowly turned into a big thing women became crazy about. Decade after decade, experts came up with more and more ideas to better the aesthetics of the beasts.
There are women who really need the procedure, like those with visible disproportions and other inborn imperfections which result in low self-esteem. Then, there are women who are abused and manipulated by men addicted to big tits who made them believe that small breasts are unattractive. See the difference?
It’s a money-making oriented world and cosmetic surgery saw a niche to be exploited. And troops of marching women flooded the surgeries and, with money saved up for years, filled the pockets of surgeons, who promised a great boob job. They paid for something which was supposed to cure low self-esteem, self-hate, depression, and distress (the variety of mental issues is impressive here). Decades later we have heartbreaking statistics. I have to specifically clarify that this article does not concern women with a stable mindset who simply wanted to look a bit better and never went to extremes.
First and foremost, the surgeons are obliged to make a thorough psychological profile of the client before proceeding with pumping them up. According to statistics, 80% of the women who received a breast augmentation had been frequenting psychotherapy for years, curing unresolved issues, most of them resulting from men’s attitude. Women turned down at job interviews, dumped by boyfriends and husbands in favour of large-breasted women, women who were never told they were pretty. Tell me again that looks don’t matter, and I’ll jump out of my skin.
After the surgery, most women show a sharp increase in self-confidence, the self-hate is gone, the self-respect is back, the sex life is there. It’s all dandy! But short-lived. The suicidal risk with those women not only comes back in several months, but remains three and this time it is higher and stays higher for a decade after the procedure. From the eleventh year on, it increases by another 4.5% and after the 20th year, if the woman is still using implants, it increases by yet another 6%. However, statistics show that not many women stick with the implants for more than 10 years.
Things a surgeon will not tell a woman, ready to pay for a new pair, include the huge amount of women turning into alcoholics and abusing prescription pills, becoming addicts to fill the void, which the new breasts did not fill at all.
What a surgeon would never tell a client sitting in front of them with the money ready to be cashed, is that a woman with implants has the worst prognosis if she gets breast cancer. They will not tell you about the complications in detail: the pain, the possible infections, rupture, leakage, fluid collection, and loss of sensibility in the nipples. They will mention those as not very likely to happen and will exploit your wish to look sexy and desirable.
There are four types of implants: saline solution, silicone gel, structured filter and composite filter. The latest improvements are rather expensive. Some can allegedly even provide some “sagging effect” when the bra is off, to make them seem more real.
Whatever augmentation you go for, it will always show. The new boobs are always perky, never sagging and they undoubtedly look great. Let’s not forget, men go for the looks. Statistics show that 77% of men like them and feel strongly attracted to a good boob job, but strangely enough only 10% of those who are in favour of them have wives or girlfriends with enlarged breasts. However, when it comes to feeling them, the proportion changes. Most men admit that touching silicone boobs is “strange”, “unnatural” or “spooky”. They say: “Where is the softness?” or “She kept telling me to mind the right one, because it felt weird. How does she think I felt?” or even “She doesn’t allow me to touch her nipples. She said they felt insensitive and I was only hurting her.”
Here is what a guy shares about his experience:
“I never wanted that from her. Never! I loved her the way she was and I like small tits, but she refused to believe me. I paid for them, I wanted her to be happy. And they looked great, but touching them was a turnoff for me. I got used to them in time, I loved her, you know, but they became a living thing in our lives. I couldn’t put my arm around her shoulder because she couldn’t stand anything heavy on her body. Then she had difficulty sleeping on the left side. They were a constant obstacle during sex. I tried my best to talk her into removing them, but… well, she loved them more than she loved me and we split up.”
Then, there is this story:
“I am so happy for her. She always hated her tits and I loved her, although I like bigger breasts. She did it for me. I paid half of it. She did it for me, dude! And I love her. Underneath she is the same great woman, but more confident now. It’s been a year now and we are happy.”
According to plastic surgeons, 90% of the couples are happy after the surgery, but they have to profit, don’t they? According to official medical and social statistics, men are divided: 50% for and 50% against surgery. As for women, if no emotional cure has been offered, no size of breasts will help because, remember – inside she is the same woman and insecurities, when undealt with on time, are bound to remerge. What exists, persists.
I truly understand women who go for the procedure and I hope they’ve made the educated choice. However, a more mature woman is less likely to go for it. Most of the clientele of this particular surgery are young girls.
And, no, augmentation does not in any way influence breastfeeding, nor the quality of the milk.
Anyone can do whatever they want with their body – your body is your temple. I simply wish men stopped ogling large-breasted women and pushing their girlfriends and wives into believing they are not worthy of appreciation. Men are to blame here, as are women who fall into the vicious circle that if he does not love you enough now, he will love you more for the bigger boobs. Also, you will most likely have to pay for the pleasure of using a larger cup-size on your own because only 17 % of men are willing to pay or participate in the payment.
That said, it’s a woman’s choice and no one can talk her out of it if she’s made up her mind. They look great. Yes, you can always tell they are not quite real, but if a woman has decided to go through it, I hope it’s not for a man’s approval. And even if that is the case, whatever floats your boat, girls.
I remember watching a documentary on men touching the very implant. I also remember them throwing it around the studio like a ball and laughing. If you are doing it for one of these morons, maybe you should learn a bit more about men’s phycology and the consequences of the procedure because I can assure you, there are millions of ways to win over a man and keep him. The breasts are a 50/50 option.
Pump them, if you will, but make sure you can handle them. Both of them.
